Welcome To 71 Construction!

71 Construction was formed as a joint venture in 1979 with the merger of two Casper companies, D & S Company Inc. and Construck, Inc. They officially changed their name to 71 Construction in 1980. The owners, Steve Loftin, Tom Davenport and Ken Schulte, graduated from Natrona County High School in 1971,hence the name 71 Construction.

The company has expanded from its original roots of installing lawn sprinkler systems, asphalt paving, excavating and contract trucking to the more diverse operations of underground utilities, grading, demolition, chip seals, oil field construction, concrete paving, curb & gutter, sanitary sewer, water lines and hazardous waste removal.

The service area has also expanded from the original Casper base, to having a full time office and asphalt hot plant in Riverton, WY in 1989. We also produce construction aggregates from our own pits in Natrona County.
