71 Construction is proud of the knowledge, experience, and education of its staff. Our professional staff holds various degrees and certifications and many more have taken continuing education classes in construction, safety, and management in order to better serve our customer's needs.

Safety Matters

Safety matters at 71 Construction. Success of the company is dependent on our team of outstanding employees and we are committed to providing a healthy and safe work environment for them. Education and training are key components of the safety program. Safety meetings are held weekly to discuss jobsite safety issues and corrective measures that may be warranted. The Safety Committee also meets on a regular basis to address ways to increase worker safety and promote a safe work environment. Many training programs are offered to our employees including First Aid/CPR, Defensive Driving, Hazardous Waste Operations, confined space, fall protection, MSHA Part 46, and many others, all designed to promote awareness and emergency response capabilities.

  • Paver Operator
    Must have knowledge of asphalt paving operations and good paving practices. Tasks would include paving parking lots, subdivision streets, and patching. Must be physically able to labor and lift up to 75 lbs. Prefer 1 year experience in the Construction Industry.

  • Truck Driver
    CDL Required with good driving record. Prefer 1 year experience in the Construction Industry.

  • Finish Roller Operator
    Must have knowledge of asphalt paving operations and good paving practices. Tasks would include paving parking lots, subdivision streets, and patching. Must be physically able to labor and lift up to 75 lbs. Prefer 1 year experience in the Construction Industry.

  • Laborer/Raker
    Must be able to perform physical labor associated with an asphalt paving operation – shoveling, raking, with some equipment operation.

  • Finish Blade Operator
    Be able to lead a small crew of 2-3 people and capable of setting and reading grade, i.e. parking lots, curb walk, concrete paving. Prefer 1 year experience in the Construction Industry.
